READER TECHNOLOGY

  • TRANSPONDER AUTOMATIC VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION
    Transponder technology provides long-range wireless access control for the community. The system consists of two parts: A pole-mounted antenna at each entry point/lane and a passive (no battery) vehicle identification (AVI) tag mounted in each car.
  • BARCODE READER
    Barcode Readers are a popular method for granting access to residents, and do not require contact with security. A barcode label is adhered to the rear window of the resident’s automobile, and scanned by a pole-mounted reader as the car passes by, granting access if the barcode is authorized.
